The Lac qui Parle-Yellow Bank Watershed District's Mission is to: 
Serve as a partner in water planning and management with the State Agencies, Counties, Cities, & Soil & Water Conservation Districts, and assist with the management of water quality and quantity within the Lac qui Parle-Yellow Bank Watershed boundaries.

The MPCA is seeking citizen lake and stream monitoring volunteers.

The Watershed office is now open to the public.  Please enter through the east door of the courthouse, where you will be screened and instructed where to go.  

Stonehill Park is open to boat access and seasonal guests.  please use proper social distancing!  The beach, fishing pier, restrooms, picnic shelter, playground, and temporary camping remain closed due to the covid-19 pandemic.  This will be evaluated monthly by the board of managers using Cdc guidance.
